We have a wall full of colour and light, thanks to Burnley artist Jacky Murtaugh. Find out more about her on our Exhibitions page.

Why not visit Aly at Farfield Mill, Sedbergh – AIR until the end of May.

Farfield Mill

Aly is doing a tempory ‘Artist in Residence’ gig at Farfield Mill near Sedbergh until the end of May. This will then hopefully be followed up by an exhibition inspired by her time there, sometime in 2019. She will be there half the week and at Studio22B the other half. The days of the week will vary as to when she is there, so if you particularly want to see her just get in touch to find out when she is next there. You can also find out the latest on her facebook page as well on Farfield Mill’s facebook page.

All invited: ‘Flora and Fauna’ Exhibition Preview Evening.

SAVE THE DATE! Our next exhibition opens on Sunday 3rd June at 7.30pm. We will be celebrating the natural world in pixels and paint, from macro studies of flowers to trees to vistas. Expect colour, texture and detail from both of us. The exhibition will then be up for a month before moving on to Garstang Arts Centre. Why not join the Facebook event page here, to keep up with all the latest plus sneak previews.

Trawden Art Trail 2017, 21st and 22nd October.

We are looking forward to Saturday and Sunday, as for once, we get to spend the whole weekend in the pub and the cafe! It’s the first annual Trawden Art Trail and Aly is Artist in Residence at the splendid Old Rock Cafe and Matt is Artist in Residence in the plush surroundings of the Trawden Arms. Both venues have been very generous in lending space for this event. Here are the salient facts:

  1. It is on Saturday and Sunday 10am to 4pm.
  2. The trail is a lovely 1.5 mile walk round Trawden taking in artist studios, an art fair and of course Aly and Matt in their venues.
  3. You will need a ‘trail guide’ to get in the other venues, which is available from the Community Centre for just £1 and is the start of the trail. The map from the guide is reproduced below.

PLEASE POP IN AND SAY HELLO. WE WILL HAVE PRINTS, CARDS AND ORIGINALS, AND MATT WILL ALSO HAVE FRAMING SAMPLES WITH HIM.
