They gallery is also my studio. Here I explore portraiture, macro and still life, as well as editing and refining my latest landscape and documentary work. The studio is filled with iconic and vintage photography equipment and props. I especially like adapting equipment eg a hospital screen becomes a portable backdrop, a theatre spotlight throws dramatic shadows and industrial fans ruffle hair. I also collect chairs and now have an interesting variety for sitters to pose upon. It is a bit of an Aladdin’s cave and an inspiring place to work.
